IJS - Intelligent systems E9
We have been cooperating with IJS, department Intelligent systems E9 and IMS Industrijski merilni sistemi d.o.o. www.ims.si on the project Intelligent information systems in health care (i-lab), which belongs to e-contents in the field of health care.
All of the three organizations will use their knowledge and experience for quality and effective implementation of the project.
IJS is involved in artificial intelligence for 20 years, lately especially with the field of ambient intelligence. Its goal is to upgrade sensor information with intelligent methods, which enable intelligent data processing, automatic search for regularities in data and intelligent control over the state of the observed process. This ensures multidisciplinarity and diversity of consortium partners, which complete themselves content-wise. IJS also has many years of experience in implementation of e-applications, e-services and e-contents. In the past years, the cooperated in the development of the following systems: Alvis (genre classificatory), CIVaBiS (comprehensive intelligent safety biometric system), Govorec (speech synthesis from text), Ada (internet information provider, which interactively responds to set questions).
The project is focused on laboratories, which store samples and medication, quality of which depends on storage conditions (e.g. temperature, brightness). Alongside appropriate material storage, control of equipment functioning (e.g. freezers) and effective and safe handling of data on samples, medication, patients and equipment are required for optimal functioning of the laboratory.
